Welcome to my online blog for our Vineyard Life Journal!
This forum IS NOT for debate or to correct each other, but to share our insights and observations. (Actually, I will be keeping a pretty tight rein on the comments section, and I will have the ability to block trolls, spammers or those who just want to stir the pot.)
Before you comment or read what I have posted, read today’s passages for yourself and complete your own S.O.A.P. exercise… (If you read mine first, it may taint what you think.)

Revelation 15 seven angels and seven plagues.
Revelation 16 seven bowls filled with God’s wrath.
21 “From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.”
Revelation 17:15 “Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”
Revelation 18 three final woes…
Tomorrow is our last day, and the final chapters of Revelation.
Like so many other books in the Bible, pounding judgment is followed by redemption and mercy. We know how this ends, but it plays out like Jeremiah or Ezekiel with judgment, judgment and more judgment. Only THIS is the final judgment of the earth. THE final chapter in human history.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again… Just. Be. Ready.
Just be ready. Keep your eyes… and heart… open and alert.
Matthew 16:2 “He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. a 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.”
These events will be striking and dramatic. They will be apocalyptic in scale, for the whole world to see. 100 lb. hail?? And people will still curse God, not cry out to Him for mercy.
That about sums it up…
Lord, I thank you for your mercy.
