Christmas is finally upon us! We have provided hundreds of gifts for kids in our Christmas Store, had the live nativity for our kids last weekend (complete with a live camel!) and Wednesday night we had our first Christmas Eve family service with candle-lighting. It’s always a special moment when the candles are lit and we sing a classic Christmas hymn together.
Just a friendly reminder that there is no Saturday service this weekend since Sunday is Christmas Eve…
We have our two Sunday services as usual at 9A & 11:15A with full children’s ministry. Check your kids in as per usual… Then we have another family service at 6P with candle-lighting. I hope you are able to join us (and bring a friend!)
One tip, you will want to arrive early for the evening service, as we are expecting a full house. And, be patient after the service… the parking lot could get a little crazy. Please take your time when exiting.

I’d also like to take a moment to invite you to go on a journey with us of reading through the Bible in 2018. We will be using the S.O.A.P. method of study. Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer. What verses jumped out at me? What did I notice? How did these passages impact me? How does it apply to my life? And, what is my prayer in this moment? (It only takes about 30 minutes per day!)
I hope you’ll join us on this adventure! Go to dvc.life/journal to find out “How this works” and to sign up to reserve your FREE customized quarterly Vineyard Life Journal. (For those of you who are more “digital,” Scott will be blogging his way through the Bible every day on our website. CLICK HERE to go to Scott’s blog.) We’ll have the journals ready for distribution on New Year’s Eve weekend and officially get started on January 1st. Don’t forget to sign up!
Please come up and say hello if we haven’t connected in a while. I look forward to seeing you!
