I hope this note finds you well. It looks like it’s going to be a great summer-like weekend!
Last weekend we wrapped up our COVERED series on grace. As we approach the summer season, this weekend I’m going to talk about times and seasons. In Matthew 24 the disciples asked Jesus about the end times… Jesus spoke to them about their ability to look at the sky and know the weather (several of them were fishermen.) He asked them how they could read the weather, yet not know the (spiritual) season in which they were living? Understanding the time in which we are living is very important.
If you would like to get connected at our church, no matter how long you have been attending, check out Starting Line. It’s a two week series where you will have the opportunity to meet some of our staff, hear our history, discuss our future vision, ask questions, get connected and make some friends along the way. Sessions will be in the Lodge during the 11:15A service on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month (June 11th & 18th). No need to register. Please attend both sessions.
This weekend is your last opportunity to register your kids for Camp uReveal and get the FREE shirt. Camp uReveal is a camp specifically designed to activate your kid’s gifting in art, dance, science or athletics and encourage them to use it as a way to worship our wonderful Creator. Camp uReveal is for children who have completed grades K-5. June 19th-22nd from 6:30P-9P.
Camp uReveal Jr. is also available for our 4-6 year old children who will get to participate in the Art camp. For more information, CLICK HERE!
Join us in celebrating Dads at our Lunch on the Lot event on Sunday, June 18th. You can purchase your meal at one of Dayton’s favorite food trucks following each of the Sunday Services. We are looking forward in celebrating family with you on this special day. Happy Father’s Day!
I hope to see you at our Open Heavens night of worship this Sunday night, June 11th at 7P. Open Heavens is a great opportunity for us to enjoy an extended time of worship. The atmosphere is faith-filled with anticipation and expectation. Often times there are prophetic words that are shared and words of knowledge that ignite times of ministry. I hope you can join us! There is no childcare available, however you are more than welcome to bring your kids to worship with you.
I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
P.S. Our Women’s Ministry is hosting a movie night (War Room) next Friday, June 16 at 6:30P in the Worship Center (on the big screen!) Popcorn and drinks are provided, feel free to bring a snack to share.
