What a week it has been! What a COUPLE OF WEEKS it has been! Each day we have had at least 15 (and as many as FIFTY!) teams going out into the community praying for people and sharing the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.
To watch a revive Dayton testimony video CLICK HERE.
I don’t have the final numbers yet, but (conservatively) as many as 26 people gave their lives to Christ each day, with dozens more asking for discipleship and follow-up. One woman pleaded with a team, “Please don’t forget about me.” If you would like to walk alongside someone who is new to faith, it’s easy! We will train you and provide the materials for you. Just let us know!
I want to give a big THANK YOU to all of you who participated in any way. So many of you prayed, provided or served food, donated money, helped clean up, or went out on teams to pray with people.
Also, thank you to Dr. Kyle Martin and his entire team for coming and helping us refocus on the simplicity of the Gospel. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for reviveOHIO :: Miami County! It starts next Sunday night, November 13, hosted by Ginghamsburg Church.
This weekend we are observing Honor Weekend… (Veterans Day is next Friday, November 11.) To help us honor the veterans in our community, an old friend of mine, Earl Morse will be worshiping with us. The Honor Flight Network program was conceived by Earl Morse, a physician assistant and Retired Air Force Captain. Earl wanted to honor the veterans he had taken care of for the past 27 years. For more info on Honor Flight CLICK HERE.
Additionally, Dr. Mike Hutchings from Global Awakening will be our guest speaker. While in Dayton, he also is also doing a training seminar (Saturday) on how to pray for those struggling with issues relating to PTSD.
