I hope you enjoyed the BRAVE series as much as I did. There were some great times of ministry throughout the span of the series. It was fun last weekend watching ministry happen and people connecting at the end of each service. It’s always a good sign when people linger in the room after the service ends.
If you missed any of the weekly messages from the BRAVE series, you can listen to them HERE.
This coming weekend we’re going to take a look back at all that we’ve accomplished over the lifespan of our church. I also have some exciting news regarding our Riverdale campus. There are some cool things ahead! Psalm 78:7 states, “Each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.” I think it’s always healthy to look backward as we look forward.
Also coming up on Wednesday night next week, our friend Steve Backlund is paying us a visit. Steve is one of the most hope-filled people I have ever met. He has written several books including “You’re Crazy if You Don’t Talk to Yourself” and “Let’s Just Laugh at That” (One of my personal favorites). It’s all about the lies that we believe: I’m too young, I’m too old, I’m not smart enough, I can’t, or I will never. Join us this Wednesday at 7 PM for a great time of worship, teaching and ministry!
I mentioned this event last week, but I wanted to include it again this week. It’s an event being held at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in partnership with our friends at United Theological Seminary. For more information, CLICK HERE.
I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
