I hope you all doing well.
This was a little bit of a “make up” week for me but all is well that ends well. I enjoyed my reading times this week, but there was massive amounts of detail on the Tabernacle.
In Exodus it was layer upon layer of God’s direction on worship, offerings, and sacrifice. At the same time in Acts it was the Holy Spirit using people like us to build a spiritual building, made without earthly elements, into a habitation for Him to rest in. It is called His Church, His Bride, His body.
As Paul wrote…
“The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life? If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God! (2 Corinthians 3:7-9 NLT)
I am glad he is using us for His glorious purpose. I look forward to seeing you this weekend. I am already preparing my heart for worship.
